Robin Janson received her bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from Indiana University in 1989 and her master's degree in Health Sciences Education from Indiana University in 2004.
She has taught in the Department of Occupational Therapy since 1998, serving as a part-time Lecturer 1998-2005 and as the MS in OT Program’s full time Academic Fieldwork Coordinator 2005-2008.
Janson's area of clinical expertise is in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. She currently works part-time for Methodist Sports Medicine providing hand therapy services.
In 1994, she earned a specialty certification in hand therapy (CHT) from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission, Inc.
Janson is a co-founder of the Indy Hand Study Group (INHand), a group dedicated to providing quality continuing education related to hand and upper extremity rehabilitation at no charge.
