Master of Physician Assistant Studies

The Master of Physician Assistant Studies program is intended for individuals with prior experience (paid or volunteer) in a health related field and with a commitment to provide health care in underserved and rural communities. The program consists of seven (7) consecutive semesters over 27 months and includes 76.5 credit hours of didactic courses and 34.5 credit hours of clinical rotations for a total of 111 credits. The start term is May 2013.

Important Dates

The application cycle for the Indiana University Physician Assistant program Class of 2016 will begin June 1 and close October 1, 2013. All application materials must be received or postmarked by October 1st. The program will participate in CASPA this year. An applicant's CASPA materials must be considered "Completed." This means all application materials submitted to CASPA have been received and documented by CASPA. This will require applicants to submit their materials to CASPA several weeks before the October 1 deadline. In addition to the CASPA application, an online IUPUI application must be received by the application deadline. Late application materials cannot be accepted.

The program will interview the top 120 ranked applicants. Interview requests will be made to these applicants by mid-November. Interviews will be held on the following days:
