Rehabilitation and Integrative Therapy (RIT) Lab
The RIT lab is in Coleman hall on the IUPUI campus. Our mission of the RIT lab is to develop and study rehabilitation interventions. Our focus often includes aspects of integrative therapy such as yoga, mindfulness, self monitoring strategies and meditation. Such interventions are quickly becoming mainstream in and outside of rehabilitation, but there is a lack of evidence to support them. Therefore, we focus on understanding recovery after disability and how to best deliver new and proven rehabilitation and integrative medicine interventions.
Our lab is equipped with exercise mats, bolsters, wedges, resistance bands, and various other common rehabilitation equipment. Our goal is to develop and test evidence based rehabilitative and integrative therapy interventions.
