Ceremony Information

11 a.m. Students should arrive at Lucas Oil Stadium at the entrance on the northeast side of the building, at the corner of South Street and Capitol Avenue. This is the entertainment entrance, nearest the Colts Pro Shop.

11 a.m. All entrances on the north, west, and south sides of Lucas Oil Stadium will be open to families, friends, and the general public. 

Noon. Student procession and diploma cover presentation begins. Please eat breakfast before you arrive at Lucas Oil Stadium.

1 p.m. IUPUI Commencement begins. It will last approximately two hours. Concession stands will be open in both Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indiana Convention Center.

One hour after IUPUI Commencement ends. Most school recognition events will take place after IUPUI Commencement. School events differ in program length, but the average is approximately one hour.

Main Ceremony

IUPUI Commencement is the university’s official, campus-wide Commencement ceremony. It will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday, May 12, at 1 p.m. The student procession and diploma cover presentation will begin at approximately 12:00 p.m.

School Recognition Events

School recognition events celebrate individual student achievement. Most school events begin one hour after IUPUI Commencement ends. However, there are some events held in the morning before IUPUI Commencement. Check information for your school below.

All recognition events will be held in the Indiana Convention Center. Tickets are not required for graduates or their guests.

The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Student recognition will begin one hour after IUPUI Commencement ends, approximately 4:00 pm, in Hall A of the Wabash West Corridor (first floor).
