Research & Clinical Interests

Dr. Douglas’s area of clinical expertise is in pediatric rehabilitation, including the NICU, outpatient, school-based, and community-based settings.  Her previous research includes examining factors influencing handwriting and keyboarding skills. Her current research interest includes investigating the impact of the opioid epidemic on children and their families and occupational therapy’s role in reducing childhood trauma.
