Research & Clinical Interests
Dr. Massie’s research is focused on better understanding motor behavior and neurophysiological changes associated with neurological conditions such as stroke and traumatic brain injuries to develop interventions that can positively influence recovery. Her current research interests include investigating the brain’s ability to change and reorganize with forms of non-invasive brain stimulation and determining the clinical benefit of rehabilitation robotics. Her research interests also include using motion analysis and other kinematic measures to determine how individuals respond to different forms of clinical interventions.
