  • School Wide Awards

    Dean's Academic Excellence Scholarship 

    This award is given annually to the top 10 admitted graduate/professional students based upon their admission scores.  There is no application.

    Dr. Mark S. Sothmann, Dean's Leadership Award An annual award to an undergraduate senior or graduate senior that exemplifies Dr. Sothmann's dedication to scholarship, leadership, and service to the profession and community.  This award is chosen by the school's leadership; there is no application.
  • Health Science Awards

    Dr. Karen Gable Health Sciences Scholarship This scholarship will be used to support undergraduate and/or graduate scholarships for non-traditional students who have a record of academic excellence.
  • Nutrition and Dietetics Awards

    Arlene Wilson Dietary Fellowship This scholarship will be used to support Nutrition and Dietetics students.
    Dr. Karyl Rickard Pediatric Nutrition Award This award will be granted to a student in a  Masters or doctoral program with an interest/emphasis in pediatric nutrition, or, to a graduate student from thee-learning Clinical Nutrition Pediatric program or Pediatric Nutrition Fellowship  program who is engaged in pediatric research or an innovative leadership project. 
    Dr. Shelia Ward Fellowship This award will be granted to student enrolled in a Nutrition and Dietetics graduate fellowship.
    Louise Irwin Fellowship This Fellowship is  for a Masters student enrolled in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics internship.
  • Occupational Therapy Awards

    Anita H. Slominski OT Fellowship This fellowship is used to support graduate fellowships
    Carol Duke Nathan OT Fellowship This fellowship will be awarded to a first year students enrolled in Occupational Therapy.
    Dr. Patricia Laurencelle Occupational Therapy Award This award will be given to a  graduating Occupational Therapy student who formulates a well written paper of distinction conceptualizing a solid understanding of current occupational therapy theory and practice.
    Katherine Belzer Fellowship Fellowship is given annually to students demonstrating perseverance in spite of hardships. Funds can be awarded to entering students and current students.
    Linda S. Riccio OT Perseverance Fellowship This fellowship is used to support graduate fellowships, either second year MSOT student or entry OTD student
    Occupational Therapy Alumni Giving Circle Fellowship This award is used to support a fellowship for an incoming graduate student in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences who is enrolled in the Occupational Therapy program.  This is award is given to the top two Indiana applicants based upon admissions scores; there is no appliaction.
    Jeffrey & Diane Crabtree Community-based OT Scholarship Occupational Therapy OTD entry or post professional level. 
    Dr. Fisher Doctor of Occupational Therapy Scholaship  
    OT Student Research Presentation Award This award will be granted to a second year independent thesis or non-thesis research group students with the highest score attained at the annual Occupational Therapy Research Day.  This award is chosen by the Occupational Therapy Department; there is no application.
  • Physical Therapy

    Constance Brown Memorial Fellowship Fellowship is given annually to one or two outstanding students demonstrating financial need.
    Department of Physical Therapy Student Community Engagement This award is given to students in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences who are actively involved in the Student Outreach Clinic or other community engagement program endorsed by SHRS and IUPUI.  This award is chosen by the Physical Therapy Department; there is no application.
    Frances C. Ekstam Fellowship Fellowship is given annually to an outstanding student demonstrating scholastic excellence and professional contribution. 
    Katherine Belzer Fellowship Fellowship is given annually to students demonstrating perseverance in spite of hardships. Funds can be awarded to entering students and current students.
    Patricia Rae Evans Fellowship Fellowship is given annually to a first year student demonstrating academic excellence.
    Physical Therapy Faculty Choice Award Used to support awards based upon research and/or service to third-year students who are enrolled in the entry-level Doctor of physical Therapy program.  This award is chosen by the Physical Therapy Department; there is no application.
    Ron & Lauren Cram PT Perseverance Fellowship Fellowship is given annually to a third year student who has overcome personal obstacles to remain in the physical therapy program. 
    Stephen O. Jones Fellowship Fellowship is given annually to an outstanding student who has declared an interest in the area of geriatric or acute care physical therapy practice. 
    William D. Porter Award is given annually to a graduating student demonstrating academic and clinical excellence in neurological rehabilitation. This award is chosen by the Physical Therapy Department; there is no application.
    Zach H. Gregory Emerging Leadership Award This award is given in memory of Zach H. Gregory to a student demonstrating emerging traits of both academic and professional leadership.  This award is chosen by the Physical Therapy Department; there is no application.
  • Physician Assistant Studies

    Dr. Gaylen M. Kelton International Service Learning Experience Scholarship This scholarship will be granted to Physician Assistant students purusing an international service learning experience.  This award is chosen by the Physician Assist Studies program; there is no application.
